Summer's last hurrah . . .

Luxury home furnishings display with striped chairs, wooden table, colorful pillows, and decorative items.

As the summer season rolls to a close, we want to share a glimpse of summer from our favorite store in Nantucket. Store #2 is a fabulous source for home furnishings for your Siasconset cottage or Tribeca loft. We love the way they mix old with new, trendy with classic and oomph with everything!

White coffee table with glass top, featuring two large glass lanterns with rope handles, gold sailboat sculptures, and folded patterned napkins with a blue ribbon.
Red upholstered chair with white piping, decorative pillows, and floral-patterned furniture nearby.

The shop is the off-spring of  Elizabeth Bauer Design in collaboration with Liz's mom, Mary Jane. Together they have made this shop a must-see destination on Centre Street in the town of Nantucket. The splattered floor is the perfect summer cottage back-drop for the eclectic collection of gifts and home accessories. The combination of trendy, nautical, antique must-have goodies for every home are so appealing collectively, one is hard pressed to extract one single goody to take home.

Red bar cart with wheels, holding blue and white boxes. Surrounding are various home furnishings, including a wicker chair, striped cushions, and decorative items.

The summer may be fading but Store #2 is not. September and October are our favorite times to visit Nantucket. Be sure to put 44 Centre Street on your list of must-see spots on the island. It is well worth the long ferry ride!
