The Dog Days of Summer!

The end of July is upon us and with August, comes what we like to call, "the dog days of summer." August is a beautiful time at our home in New England. The sun is out, the water is clear, the nights are cool. It's perfect. No one enjoys these beautiful days more than  . . . the dogs. While wandering the stores in Edgartown on Martha's Vineyard, I came across this really wonderful book, The French Dog. It's an inspired compilation of very chic, yet very casual pups in their French elements. Design Sponge covered the book's launch in 2012 along with The French Cat. Immediately I thought of all the great images interior designers take with their dogs and what a great summer many of them seem to be having! Did you know a few of these pampered pooches even have their own instagram accounts??? Lucky dogs!       Finally, #oomphprdog, aka Oscar, wanted to share some his favorite pics from the summer. He and his fellow oomph office-mate, Jack, have been living it up in Connecticut and Cape Cod.
