Everyone knows we just returned from High Point market where we debuted our snazzy line of home furnishings on the first floor of Interhall. We knocked the socks off everyone with our dazzling booth full of bright new things. The High Point Market recruited 8 home fashion trendsetters to select their favorite products from the show. The
Style Spotters select what's new in home fashion trends. They were commissioned to post and curate their favorite looks on
Pinterest, a website that lets users organize and share photos on virtual pinboards. The
backgammon table was selected by
Shay Geyer, a designer from Dallas, Texas who has a regular Friday segment on "Good Morning Texas". She loved it and we were thrilled to get the nod.
Next down the aisle was our friend
Tobi Fairley who selected our very useful
bar cart as her stylespot mark. She even got her mother to buy one in "synergy" because it would make her happy. It made us happy too! Thank you Tobi - you are a good friend to oomph. The next table to get the coveted Style Spotter card was our new
Charleston Coffee table in navy. We must confess, when
Traci Zeller, named one of Charlotte's most stylish people, posted her pinterest photo, our Twitter started tweeting! Here's what she had to say: "Isn't the navy lacquer on this Oomph Charleston Coffee Table absolutely yummy! And the top is raffia! It's so fabulous that Thom Filicia - yes, that Thom Filicia - did a double take when walking through InterHall, stopped and gushed about how amazing it is!
There was still one more nod to come from
Jamie Meares a designer and store owner from Raleigh, North Carolina who also writes the popular blog,
I Suwannee. She selected our summer favorite, the
Fenwick Chart table.
We like her style, in fact we like all our Style Spotter's choices! They all picked great and unique pieces, classics that we love as well. We were honored to have been selected by 4 out of the 8 Style Spotters and must confess that we think that was a very special way to start out at our first High Point market. Go to the
High Point Market Style Spotters Pinterest page and vote for your favorite Style Spotter. It's fun to see what they found while strolling the show, and one of them will win a trip to the next one! We'll look for them there.
