That is how many describe our very own Louise Brooks so it was no surprise that it was the headline in the October issue of Traditional Home Magazine that featured her lovely oomph-filled home!
Since we are highlighting our new products this week, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to post the pages of the magazine featuring so many of our newest creations. Many of our proto-types first get their test runs in our own homes. The tiered or "Stretch" Newport Console was made exclusively for this room. Everyone who saw it loved it so much we had to add it to the oomph line in a more manageable size of 60". We imagine it will become as popular as our original Newport Console. The Fairfield 48 Coffee Table, shown in the centerfold of Louise's living room shoot, was originally created for a designer show house in Palm Beach. Again, the fans who saw it in a magazine loved it. We were bombarded with multiple requests for this big beauty and once again - a star was born. In fact, Louise had to have one too! It is our largest coffee table to date and a handsome addition to any style room that can handle its size. The little chair by the fireplace is our Mini Chair and of course the small grey table in the foreground is our Tini IV Table.
The elegant front hall and the classic New England styling are favorites for the traditional fans but there are surprises within that delight even the die-hard antique lovers.
The Brooks clan loves backgammon. They had an older game table and wanted a snazzier version for their beautiful new home - hence the oomph Backgammon Table was created. It became an immediate classic and is now one of our best-selling pieces.
Although not new, (the Hobe Sound Coffee Table is now an ancient 9 months old!) - we love the picture of it in Louise's master bedroom suite with the view of Long Island Sound beyond. The oomph Tini Loveseat, featured in our rain-washed linen, is a cozy spot to curl up with a good book or to make morning calls.
When the weather is warm, the outside terrace features an oomph Charleston Mirror in Synergy to reflect the beautiful view even when you are facing inland!
The kitchen sitting area sports a couple of oomph Raffia Cubes, several tini tables, and a coffee table named for the town in which it resides - Rowayton. It's an updated interpretation of your mother's classic butler's tray.
The study has oomph as well! We love the punch of violet added to this room on the oomph Tini Tufted Chair and pillows. The "Poetical" pillows are one of our first products and still a hot seller. They are the perfect shade of greige and the pattern is a wonderful scale to mix with solids. The Essex Coffee Table in Turkish Coffee is also one of the original oomph line and in fact the original proto-type! We love its classic lines and clean design - a perfect complement to marry new with old.
