Heather Chadduck

Quickly becoming a household name, Heather Chadduck is not only a designer to watch (and hire!) but one that is making history as the Designer in Residence at Colonial Williamsburg. Tasked with updating several of the non-exhibit homes on the grounds, she is working to preserve the great American craftsman in design, preserving the history of the residence and breathing new life and elegance to the homes.

But this honor did not come without some highly recognizable projects. Featured constantly in our favorite shelter publications, Heather was also named one of Veranda Magazine's Next Legends in 2021. Her gracious Southern style and hospitality are what draws clients to her. Her interiors are rooted in tradition and exude a relaxed elegance, a look attempted by many, perfected by fewer. Her many years as a stylist for the top magazines, designers, and photographers is where this tasteful talent was honed.

One of her largest design projects to date, the 6,800 square-foot interior of the 2019 Southern Living Idea House on Amelia Island, Florida, which we had the pleasure of working with Heather on, was completed in only seven months from design to installation, toured by a record 15,000 visitors, and Instagrammed countless times.

In addition to designer, she also boasts an eponymous textile collection. Inspired by her love of fine arts, antiques, and textiles led to the launch of her botanical-inspired fabric collection, now sold in trade showrooms across the globe.
