Usually, we are opposed to cliché round ups at the end of each year. But this was a special year, full of surprises!
From color to styles, customizations to social media, your requests and favorites were as unique as the year itself.
Launched early 2022, the Rowayton Chest collection TOOK OFF! Our most special, detailed, and luxurious chest collection to date. We didn’t need to tell you this would be your new heirloom; you knew it right away! The finest details and American craftsmanship you can find.
The Skinny Capri Mirror, born from a bespoke order, this elegant, lacquer mirror is iconic oomph and has proved to be the size everyone wants!
Madison Swivel Chairs are always a leading lady when it comes to our custom upholstery, and this year was no exception. This high-end chair is a staple in homes around the country and it delights us to see the variety of fabrics you chose along the way. From solids to ikats, wovens to velvets, we’ve seen everything this year!
A luxurious bed is on the wish list of all our design clients. After introducing the Aspen Platform Bed and Headboard, a slightly less ornate design than you are used to from oomph, we were thrilled by the response. The simple style responds well to all patterns and fabrics but does not skimp on style or comfort.
Over the Summer, we were interviewed by AtHome Magazine on color trends we were seeing in our customers buying habits. Pastels were the trend then and held strong all year long. We saw Hinting Blue everything! Yours Truly, usually reserved for Tini Tables and small mirrors, was being ordered on Large Coffee Tables, Overhead Lighting, and Large Scale Lacquer Consoles! We couldn’t believe it.

On the opposite spectrum, it was the year of Peale Green. A sleeper color when we first launched it almost 8 years ago, has become one of our most popular shades of green.
Custom Colors once again, knocked it out of the park. It’s one of our specialties! Why our customers return to us time and again, our ability to bring their custom designs to life.

Instagram was not the friend of small business this year. Algorithms messed up your feed, ads were plentiful and at random, and we weren’t quite sure if you were seeing our beautiful posts (and videos and reels!)
But You Did! And these were your favorites:

Sunday oomph has long been one of our favorite ways to communicate with you.
Designer, customers, and photographers have shared their beautiful work for almost a decade. We try to highlight as many different products, designers, and styles as possible. The fan-favorite this year – this lovely room by Jenny Wolf Design, which was also featured in House Beautiful.
